California is an amazing place to live. Expensive, yes, but still stunning none-the-less. Over the last several months I’ve grown a new appreciation for  our coastline – the way its etched and cut, the plants that build up its slopes, and the mountains that plunge into the sea.  This appreciation has caused me to learn and attempt to differentiate native plant and tree species that surround us.
